Ilana Bleich joined the Northwestern Hillel staff as their Springboard Innovation Fellow in July 2019. Born and raised in Gaithersburg, Maryland, Ilana graduated from the University of Mary Washington in 2019 with a Bachelor's in Historic Preservation and a minor in Urban Studies. While at school, she worked as a manager for Student Involvement Services, an archival assistant for University Archives & Special Collections, and the communications intern for the Department of Campus Recreation. In addition, she served on the executive board of the Historic Preservation Club for three years in the roles of Communications and Special Events. Ilana's life goal is to travel to all the cities that have hosted the summer Olympic Games--currently, she has been to four!
