Liam Howell was raised in an interfaith household in Los Angeles and grew up as a member of Temple Isaiah in West LA. He spent his summers at Gindling Hilltop Camp, a Jewish sleep-away camp in Malibu, and was very involved with NFTY in high school. Liam attended UC Berkeley for undergrad and graduated in Spring 2021 with a BS in Environmental Economics & Policy and a minor in History. In college, Liam served as Philanthropy Chair for his fraternity, Tau Kappa Epsilon, and, in addition to involvement in various Hillel programming, served as a student representative on the Berkeley Hillel Board of Directors. Liam loves to go on long bike rides and spend time with his friends and is super excited to learn about Chicago and Evanston!
