Lydia Greenberg joined the Northwestern Hillel staff in July 2017. She was raised in an interfaith family in Oakland, California, which was the beginning of her interest in social justice. She went on to receive a BA in Gender & Women’s Studies and Art History at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She then moved to Chicago to work as the Springboard Social Justice Fellow at Northwestern Hillel. She is excited to continue the work she started as a Springboard Fellow as Northwestern Hillel’s first Social Justice Coordinator. She is an active member of the Jewish Council on Urban Affairs’ Immigration Campaign, an Avodah Fellowship Alumn, and yoga enthusiast.
