Doppelt Director of Engagement
Natalie Dibo joined the Northwestern Hillel team in July of 2018. She grew up just two miles north of campus in Wilmette, Illinois. Natalie graduated from Goucher College in 2016 with a B.A in Spanish and Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies. She was also involved in campus feminist initiatives, the Prison Education Partnership and could frequently be found in the campus dance studio. Natalie is an alum of the Chicago Lakeview Moishe House, where she blended her love for cooking for large groups of people and planning innovative programs. She also sits on the Pride Committee of the Jewish Federation, through which she led the LGBT social group for young adults with discussions on identity, community, and importance of great snacks.
She spent two years as the Rabbinic, Executive and Administrative Assistant at Mishkan Chicago, a local Jewish spiritual community. It was at Mishkan where she started to hone in on her passion for radically welcoming and creating pluralist Jewish spaces. She loves cooking without a recipe, finding the perfect bubble-tea-to-tapioca ratio, and is desperately trying to find her green thumb.
