What has been your involvement with Hillel?

"I am what I like to call a "drive-by" Hillel participant. I will stop by from time to time, but I mostly just appreciate that it exists and is vibrant on our campus."

Why are you supporting Northwestern Hillel?

"I am supporting Hillel because it is the single organization that I feel needs to be thriving when I return for my ten-year reunion. Hillel is a place where students feel safe and can grow in an extremely personal way, something that can be hard to find for a new college student. Having a center of Jewish life at Northwestern is incredibly important to me and I hope that every Jewish student can benefit from it during their time here. This will surely not be the last time I give to Hillel to provide for the future of NU."

What has been your involvement with Hillel?

"Israel related position."

Why are you supporting Northwestern Hillel?

"Hillel is my second home. Over my four years at Northwestern, there is no place I have felt more comfortable or happy to be a Wildcat. I love Shabbat dinners, the community that is continually formed each week, and all the speakers & events Hillel provides the Northwestern study body. It is a place I will definitely miss next year."

Why are you supporting Northwestern Hillel?

"Hillel has provided me with a community that supported me and helped me grow throughout my time at Northwestern. Hillel has given me opportunities to bond with other Jewish students and further develop my own Jewish identity, whether I was celebrating Shabbat, participating in seminar discussions about Israel, or learning with the Rabbi. I have also been granted opportunities to connect students to each other and develop as a leader through planning programming for my peers. Some of my best friends and happiest moments were made at Hillel, and I want to ensure that current and future students can continue to grow together and build this Jewish community together."

Journalism, IMC.

What has been your involvement with Hillel?

"FYSH, TAMID Exec, Challah for Hunger Exec, MegaShabbat Committee, Hillel Exec."

Why are you supporting Northwestern Hillel?

"Throughout my three years at Northwestern, Hillel has given me a home. I had never intended to make Jewish life a priority here, but after a few months on campus, I realized most of my involvements had something to do with the Hillel community. Couldn't be more thankful that 629 Foster made my experience as a transfer student, and simply a Northwestern student, such a pleasure and joy."

Psychology, IMC.

What has been your involvement with Hillel?

"Shireinu."

Why are you supporting Northwestern Hillel?

"Hillel has done so much for ShireiNU, a group that I absolutely love being a part of. I have made amazing friends for life, been able to continue my love of singing and been part of a wonderful community because of ShireiNU. Through our connection with Hillel ShireiNU has been able to travel, compete and perform for incredible audiences. When I graduate these are the memories I will take with me as well as the friendships I have made. I want to give back to the organization that has given so much to this amazing A Cappella group."
