Rachel Hillman
Associate Director
Rachel Hillman joined the Northwestern Hillel staff in July 2016 after nearly a decade of working in the Jewish community at a local and national level in Washington, DC. Rachel is a proud alumna of Brandeis University, where she double-majored in Near Eastern & Judaic Studies and History. When she wasn't in class, Rachel could be found at Hillel, where she served on the student executive board for two years and co-chaired the Hillel Orientation programming for three years. She could also be found writing for and rehearsing with her campus sketch comedy group. Rachel holds an MBA from Indiana University and a Master's in Jewish Education from Hebrew College. In 2019, she was named a Richard M. Joel Exemplar of Excellence by Hillel International. In her free time, Rachel pretends to enjoy running, yoga, and experimenting with healthyish recipes. In reality, she enjoys binge-watching television, reading on her couch, and making nachos. Be in touch if you want to talk about Tina Fey, books you are reading (or should be reading), and ways to add Hillel to your college experience.
