  • If you are a prospective student and you'd like to receive information about Northwestern Hillel sponsored meet-ups in your area, you can direct questions here.

  • A weekly tradition for us here at Hillel is offering students a variety of options on Friday nights. We have Reform, Conservative, and an alternative Shabbat service every Friday, accompanied by free Kosher dinner. Find out more information here.

  • Looking to celebrate the High Holidays with Northwestern Hillel? We have a variety of services and meals available each year to accommodate everyone's level of observance.
     

  • Under our umbrella, we support over 10 active student-run groups. Learn more about them here.
     

  • Do you keep Kosher or interested in eating Kosher food while at Northwestern? Good news! Northwestern's Allison and Elder Dining Halls have Kosher stations and offer Kosher sandwiches at various C-Stores around campus.

FYSH (First Year Students at Hillel)

Look out for more information about FYSH (First Year Students of Hillel) for the 2022-2023 cohort. FYSH is a group of freshmen who plan and execute events for freshmen peers, while also developing leadership and interpersonal skills. Interested in being part of this cohort? More information to come at the beginning of fall quarter.

Involvement OpportunitiesDuring Your First Year at Northwestern

Each quarter, we host a Shabbat dinner specifically for first years. This is a great way to meet other first years while enjoying a delicious (and free!) dinner! Keep an eye out for dates and timing of the dinner.
