Jewish Agency Israel Fellow
Yuval Gutlohn was born and raised in Ra'anana, a small city near Tel Aviv, Israel. After high school, she joined the Israeli Army and served for two years as a sergeant in the Operation Room at Mount Hermon. Yuval holds an L.L.B. with a minor in International Relations from Hebrew University. Her studies included a semester at the Georgetown University Exchange Program in London and a Mock International Criminal Court (ICC) Trial in Poland. Yuval has been involved in the Jewish community for several years, including starting a new Scouts troop in Ra'anana and working as a summer camp counselor at JCC Manhattan. After finishing her law internship and passing the Israeli Law bar exam, Yuval moved to Chicago and served as the Israel Fellow at the University of Chicago Hillel before coming to Northwestern Hillel. In her free time, she likes to travel the world, cook (but not bake!), study history, and read books.
