Noah Shapiro

Noah Shapiro is thrilled to be joining the team at Northwestern Hillel as the Jewish Learning and Communications Associate! Originally from Deerfield, Illinois, Noah is a 2026 graduate of the George Washington University in Washington, DC with a degree in Organizational Sciences and a double minor in Communication and Judaic Studies. He served as the President of GW’s Jewish Student Association, and was also involved in A Cappella and Student Theater on campus. 

 

Noah spent 14 summers at Olin-Sang-Ruby Union Institute (OSRUI) in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, serving this past summer as the Rosh Eidah (Unit Head) of Chalutzim, a Hebrew language and culture immersion program. He was also a member of the Nachshon Project Cohort 11. Noah is extremely passionate about creating a vibrant Jewish community through meaningful relationships and unique experiences. You can find Noah seeing theater across the city, catching up on reality TV or trying out new restaurants. Go Wildcats!
